How this project gets started?
As I have aged, the common topics of conversations with friends and colleagues increasingly turned to health – more precisely, who has cancer, who died, who is diabetic, and so on. Many of my generation have changed from mostly fit, energetic individuals to overweight, tired people battling diseases or waiting for knee and hip replacements.
My motivation for change was triggered by increasingly higher sugar levels (pre-diabetic), border-line cholesterol indications and my doctor’s warning that he would very likely be prescribing pills at the next physical. It did not help my ego that my wife saw me as six months pregnant. Like a big locomotive, I slowly began to take notice of articles on health issues and my family’s comments on my less than perfect body.
Weighing on average 185 lbs. during the last 15 years, I began to eliminate or reduce certain food groups, and cut out all processed foods. I also joined the gym with serious intentions of attending five days a week. The gym is a social setting and I have met a few people who impressed me – both young and old. The fittest and shapeliest members propelled me forward, giving me direction and hope… something like the photo of an ideal figure taped to the refrigerator door. Two years later my weight had dropped to 160. My flexibility and balance improved; I was now able to touch my toes for the first time in memory. Other results were increased strength and improved cardiovascular levels. The day I jumped out of my bath with no need for support was the day I knew I had arrived. At 75, I felt younger and, because of improved posture, looked younger. The gym’s test result backed it up by giving me a physical age of 51 years!
I want to share this wonderful feeling with you.
About the book and services to help us become healthier.
The book is short, simply and practically written, with a touch of humour. It builds a strong case for making healthy decisions – motivating and giving direction to men over 40 of age on how to begin. To bring all together, Marc is offering organized round tables and seminars for groups of Canadian men to discuss their personal health challenges.
The expectations are that many men will follow the health advice (if they are not doing so already) and become disciples who will encourage their confreres to “Living Longer, Healthy”. The objective is to help reverse the declining health of a large population of Canadian men and provide them with better tools so that they may enjoy a possible 20 extra healthy years.
Some of the book’s strategies and solutions focus on:
- Losing weight through eating healthy foods
- Getting in shape to be stronger and feel younger
- Possibly delaying or avoiding serious chronic diseases
- Improving life expectancy by up to 20 years
- Perhaps help dodge a premature death
.

Marc has worked with me over 10 years and I have seen him build a network of executives and help coach 240+ CFOs and CEOs in their careers and their businesses via round table events. He was always there to help others and now again for the last 2 years I saw Marc transform himself into a younger man by working daily at his gym and losing 25 lbs. by changing his diet. I am sure you will enjoy his book, which could be your reference manual for the rest of your life. It is easy to read and understand and will help you achieve your health goals.

I am very impressed with Marc’s health at his stage of life. Having been his family doctor for more than 15 years, I have seen him get better with age, beating the odds at 75. He makes it look so easy and he has become one of my healthiest patients. His last blood test in 2017 was so good that there was little I could do for him.
Doctor Anthony Czaharyn, M.D., C.M.
I have worked with Marc and his book and was very impressed to see his drive and sincerity to help others become healthy and more productive. I support the wonderful wisdom he has put to work. He makes it look simple but then he walks the talk, losing the weight and keeping it off simply by eating the right foods. His dedication to exercise for flexibility, vigor, strength and cardio has helped him to be become 20 years younger physically within 24 months.

Marc’s journey reminds us of a fundamental truth – that our daily habits have huge role in determining our health, and the rate at which we age. It is exciting to know that by incorporating exercise and healthy eating into our routines, we can all be happier, stronger, less stressed, have more energy, and look, feel and be younger.
